This sewing and quilting cabinet includes two Rudersburg lift mechanisms, one mounted on the left side of the machine opening and the other on the right side to support the machine platform evenly at both ends and the extra weight of these heavy machines. Vibration is greatly reduced with the sturdiness of two separate lift systems working as one.
This cabinet was designed by quilters and sewers and folks that like to embroider. There are many conveniences built into the cabinet design, especially for quilters and sewers who work on large projects. The Quilt-Mate 2600 can be used with the drop-leaf in the back of the cabinet folded down. Or just lift up the drop-leaf and move the two support legs into position to add over 7 square feet of extra work space. The drawer can be pulled out and the included quilt extension can be added to help support the really large projects you work on from time-to-time.
There is a cubbyhole built-in to store your embroidery unit when not in use. Included is the right-hand fold-able “wing” that extends the cabinet to the right by 12″. This makes it convenient for right-handers to place their scissors, pins, etc. The Quilt Mate Model 2600 cabinet comes with one large drawer, but the optional Model #460 sewing chest can be rolled right under the existing drawer for a lot of extra storage and organization. By adding the optional 327 Inset to fill in the sewing machine opening even more workable space is gained.
The lift has 3 positions – all the way down, the middle position for sewing and quilting where the arm of your sewing machine is flush with the top of the cabinet. Very ergonomic and comfortable and meant to be used with a optional 327 Plexiglas sewing machine insert that fits around the arm of your machine – and lastly, the all the way up position for taking advantage of your sewing machine free arm and using your embroidery unit.
The cabinet comes completely assembled. All you do is attach the commercial grade locking casters. The cabinet even comes with a lifetime warranty.
Most domestic machine purchases do qualify for free shipping and will be shipped immediately following funds confirmation. Industrial machines1 will be billed after the purchase of your machine when your machine is ready for shipping, a payment request will be sent for freight before the machine is released.

Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 2 and 14 business days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time. We carry a large variety of product and do our best to ensure our inventory is up to date and accurate. We do offer a selection of items that are not in stock at our store, as this is also our online catalog. These items are marked and may be required to order from our warehouses. Only items that are available for purchase from our warehouse partners are available. If you happen to choose a product that is a special order item, we will order it within 48 hours to ensure there is not a lengthy delivery time. This can create a delay of 2-3 weeks.
If your product goes on sale within 10 days of purchase, we will issue you a store credit for the difference. Exceptions apply ie. Floor model, Anniversary sale, Boxing Day or Black Friday Event.
